ella ella you can be my cinderella

if there's a highlight to my trip in manila, it would be the rihanna/chris brown concert which we went to yesterday. we entered the venue around 6pm and stood at our spot for a full 6 hours! it was madness, a few teenage girls fainted because of the heat and exhaustion. but it was all worth it for me as it was very entertaining and the 70,000 strong crowd really cheered them on. for the finale, both chris brown and rihanna came on and sung "umbrella" which really got the crowd going. still a little disappointed that they didn't sing "hate that i love you so" together!

i don't have access to a USB drive here, but will upload my pics later.

and oh, according a a local reporter here, it's ok for a 40 year old to like rihanna and her music, just don't dress like her. not saying i am a 40 year old, but it gives me the excuse to shake my bons bons to her music!

  3. jase: yes CB opened the show suspended from the ceiling! but he didn't stripped off till the finale where he threw his sweaty white shirt into the screaming crowds. the boys and girls were hysterical! and CB is rather fit i must say!

kev: gotta find entertainment to amuse myself! and i find manila to be a refreshing change to europe. there's something very raw and appealing about a developing nation. the concert is fab!
