london fashion week: graeme black spring summer 2010

#LFW i attended the graeme black spring summer 2010 show yesterday afternoon. his show has always been high on my "to watch" list, and he certainly did not disappoint yesterday. i loved what he previously did at ferragamo, and ever since he started his own label he's gone strength to strength, showing what can only be described as opulent and luxurious collections.

the show was held at a beautiful art gallery at london's prestigious savile row. the light and airy space was filled with incense smell and the sound of birds chirping. gorgeousness.

guests taking their seats

& here's a selection that i really like. you probably can't tell from my slightly over-exposed pics, but the girls were all dripping with dazzling jewels by moussaieff. the guests were all gasping at how splendid, and how well the jewels complimented the clothes.

quite possibly my favourite from the whole collection. the folds were exquisite.

the shoes were all from ex-versace shoe designer, brian atwood.

why is le model darting her eyes at moi?

and the man himself, mr graeme black.

i was so thrilled to have been able to attend this show. i was allocated a front row seat, and was sat next to a very gracious lady named anne from the british fashion council. i'm truly appreciative of that, and i totally enjoyed this experience. and i met my blogging heroine, catherine from redcarpet-fashionawards, what more can i ask for!

coming soon: backstage pics, and pics of famous personalities who attended this show!

  6. That's no art gallery, that's 23 Saville Row by the looks of it, I work next door!

  7. blakey: yes that's 23 savile row, is it not a gallery? what is it used for after the show?

and don't tell me you work for one of the tailors!

  8. It's an empty tenancy! The whole building in fact is at the moment, but I did read that someone has bought floor space in there for £95/square foot, not cheap!

And no, I don't work for any tailors on Saville Row! My job title definitely isn't as exciting as that! :-)
