of shoes and a duck

the original intention was to spend the day shopping but we were rather tired of facing the crowds, so we hibernated at sketch at conduit street for a bit, and made our way to mount street for a leisurely walk, where i saw the christian louboutin "louis" sneakers and fell head over heels for. i made a mental note to go back again. just as we were exiting marc jacobs, we saw the signboard at south audley street directing us to the rupert sanderson factory sale.

while my friends were busy rummaging through the stacks of women shoes, i noticed a few of their staff wearing the rupert sanderson saddled oxfords. so i rounded them together for a pic! amazing isn't it!

after what seems like forever, my friends finally decided on two pairs: a pointy toed satin pumps with a bow detail, and a pair of almond shaped burgundy colored patent leather pumps. the prices were good but hold your horses, the factory sale ended today.

as if it weren't indulgent enough, we finished the night at michelin starred l'autre pied for a very nice meal.

as we exited the restaurant and away from marylebone high street, we saw a duck on the pavement. yes, a duck. it was so odd, and it looked frightened and shocked. i felt bad, joining in with the others to take a pic. i think the flash lights made the duck even more distressed. it was really bizarre, and by then more people had crowded around the helpless duck.

it was quite a bizarre ending to the day, but i hope the duck was rescued.

what's he wearing?
