big black box

i woke up this morning to a text message from bagaholicboy informing me that my blog's been deleted! i believed it was briefly taken down for a few hours. i really have no luck with google. my gmail got hacked, and the blog was previously locked and now deleted. damn whose tail have i stepped on, give me a break already!

focus on the positive positive positive...

came home today to find the above big black box! yes, As Seen On your Screen, these were the stuff i ordered on monday morning, talk about quick delivery!

believe me, opening shopping boxes on a weekday is very therapeutic...

my £3 cheap and cheerful straw trilby with my two pairs of shoes!

i love love l00o00ve the 2-tone "sidney" brogues from bstore. they fit very well, and are very very comfortable. the front of the shoes are broader than most hence the feet isn't squashed like most pointy shoes. i love it since i first saw it in may, am very glad i got it on sale for £60 (previously £165). one thing though, the shoes doesn't come with a dust bag, which is a great minus when shoes retail for £165 previously. if the dustbag was taken out because the shoes were on sale, that's an even bigger minus. dustbags aside, these are now my new favourites!

and i also bought the perforated leather laceups with rubber soles. these were from asos's own in house premium label called "made in italy". as the name suggested, the shoes were made in italy. regardless of where it's made, i thought the shoes were really good. lightweight and well constructed. definitely worth every penny of the £23 i paid! it came with a dustbag too! the shoes retailed for £60 previously.

go brighten up your day and shop the asos mid season sale! use code "STANDARD" to get free delivery, and use code "ASOSGRAZIA" to get 25% off regular priced merchandise (expires 21st oct). click here for the asos sale site!

now let me go make some space on the racks for my new shoes...

  3. Great to know they're fast on delivery, like Yoox which I respect for their prompt shipping. I might have to scoot over to Asos now and find something nice. I just wonder whether I pay for taxes. Ouch.

    Love both pairs!
