  7. Mmmm, I have lusted over your Balenciaga bag since you've gotten it...so I'm partial to you bringing it. I doubt however it would be the more practical option.
You'll not doubt LOVE Istanbul, have a blast!

  8. yes that Balenciaga is sexy. I wish I could get my own!

  9. Plastic bag from WH Smith. Well perhaps not that extreme but anything that draws attention when travelling is negative.

I'm not joking. Think practically. Stealth.

  10. Pick the one which is less striking. LV is surely a no no. Beware of pick pockets and guys offering free tea at their place. You won't be able to get out without buying something and they can be very rude and threatening too.

  11. I'd take the Taiga. No logo, a go go! The Balenciaga deserves to experience Istanbul, too, but can you hand carry two?

I see the umbrella from Oslo. Woot woot! =p

  13. id skip the balenciaga looks too precious. and not the grafitti too flashy for where you're going.

kinda feeling the one with the flags on it. or how discreet looking the one underneath it is.

im with san and korok. i keep thinking of this story of this pretty well of older white guy, w/ a thing for "exotic" girls, saying how he was in a bar (i think it was istanbul) flirting with this pretty girl, w/o knowing the girl slipped something in his drink, he woke up in an alley way, robbed. not to scare you!! but i think it's better to be low key when going unfamiliar places, esp. if you're traveling alone.

  14. hm.. mixed reaction here. istanbul's history and architecture is absolutely breathtaking. especially the views at night. but... i have trouble with some of the people.
be prepared to be harassed a LOT. do not draw any more attention to yourself. trust me, you will already stick out like a sore thumb being a foreigner especially during this time of year when it is not peak tourist season.
apart from that, check out the Ciragan Palace Kempinski, and visit a hammam, which is a must do. have fun!
