lvmh to release first quarter results on 13th april 2010

lvmh, the world's largest luxury goods conglomerate by market capitalisation, will release results of it's first 3 months of trading for 2010. it's widely anticipated, as it forms the benchmark for the rest of the industry, an indicator how well the luxury goods industry will fare for the rest of the year.

i think overall results will be better than the previous year. bankers enjoyed a healthier bonus round this year, so i expect the non leather goods division to show signs of growth, amid cautious growth they might say. i also expect crown jewel louis vuitton to outperform the rest of the division, with much of the growth attributed to non-japan asia.

hope i can find the time to digest the info they are releasing later today, and do some number crunching. erm, anyone else looking forward to their results?
