WE WILL ALL BE WEARING JIMMY CHOO NEXT SEASON!

jimmy choo menswear collection fall winter 2011, 15 jan 2011, milan / ph: jimmy choo

aren't the boots amazing!! one for everyday of the week! jimmy choo presented their new menswear fall winter 2011 collection in milan last saturday. i so wished i was there but pics will have to do for now. those brown boots are so calling out my name! i honestly thought jimmy choo would introduce a small capsule menswear collection just to test the market, but they really pushed the boat out. from the showroom pics, there were lots of variations of monkstraps, oxfords, hiking boots, trainers, luxe slippers etc.

the brown side zipped boots in the first pic or the monkstraps above? i don't know, i probably will take both! pardon my hyperventilation, but the collection appeared much better than what i expected, one that signify that they are serious about the menswear market.

the shoes should retail around £395 to £695, and i believe those with exotic skins are by special order. should be in stores and online around july 2011.

perfect for work. despite having 4,645,784 pairs of lace ups and slip ons, monkstraps boots i have none. just the perfect excuse i needed!

ok i admit i am a little on the fence about the mock croc jimmy choo x hunter wellies, which they are introducing in men's sizes come july. i really like penn badgley's hunter boots as featured a few days back, but not quite sure how the above would work.

but overall very excited about jimmy choo's new men's collection. who's with me?

  3. I have to be honest and say I was doubting if they could pull this off but happy to admit that I am wrong! Some very impressive styles that are not too over the top. Double buckled boot is terrific! Mock-croc wellies!!! 'nuff said!

  5. I'm afraid I'm not with you on this. Croc wellies aside, I just don't think they've added anything new to the market.

  9. Oooh the boots look so perfectly moulded. And I'm always looking out for monk-straps (for my boyfriend or me)...they are so elegant, especially double buckled ones.

  10. If I were Jimmy Choo I would stick to what I know best--women's shoes. Let the master shoe craftsmen like John Lobb and Bontoni do their thing.
