Sir Mick Jagger at 53rd annual Grammy awards in Timothy Everest

on sunday's 53rd annual grammy awards, sir mick jagger wore a stunning teal green quilted jacket when he performed on stage for a tribute to soul legend solomon burke. reader mickey emailed to ask if the jacket is from dolce & gabbana. honestly, my first thought was: looks like it. but i thought dolce & gabbana's usual cuts would be slightly overwhelming on jagger's lithe frame. tom ford's dinner jackets then come to mind, but again i thought the collar was too restrained for ford's usual epic proportions.

turns out, jagger wore a bespoke jacket from british tailor timothy everest. which is absolutely amazing as the jacket fitted him so well, and chances are there's only one piece out there. but seriously how regal does he look. especially loving the gold buckled taupe leather belt, which reminded me of my vintage hermes belt (which doesn't see much light of day). which nicely reminds me that i shall give mine a little loving soon.
