Balmain Homme Fall Winter 2011 ft Clément Chabernaud

here are a few lookbook pics from balmain homme fall winter 2011. it again featured model clément chabernaud, who appeared in their lookbook shots right from the very first season of balmain homme. the collection was shown during paris fashion week back in january, which could possibly be christophe decarnin's last ever collection at balmain since he left the fashion house not long after, and reportedly wasn't involved much in march's womenswear collection.

i love the whole mood and styling here. clément appeared with a relatively untouched face, as if exposing a sense of rawness and vulnerability surrounding decarnin's exit.

outerwear remained their strong point, and unsurprisingly i am very drawn to the blue peacoat with gold crested buttons. i look forward to seeing the collection up close and personal when it arrives in stores around july/august.

  1. Welcome back!

  2. that's strange, it seems like Clement has not very pretty hands (or at least they're really trying to hide them in this lookbook)

  3. i agree with thompsonboy, its the same old thing, no freshness, great to have back though

what's he wearing?
