versace x h&m showcased their upcoming collection in new york last night, and how i wished i could be there. mark ronson was dressed head to toe in the fuchsia suit and shoes. i thought he looked really good, if there is anyone who could pull off the look it would be him. great look.

alan cumming also wore a complete look from the collection. he chose the jeans and shirt with black and white mashed up prints, together with the belt from the special collection too. it looked great on screen, but not sure how it could be translated to streetwear.

gossip girl actor chace crawford wore a black dinner suit for the event. not sure if the versace scarf is part of the high street collection, but i am loving his contrast lapel dinner jacket, very sleek.
a little disappointed that i did not spot anyone wearing the studded leather jacket from the men's collection. i really would like to see how it looked in real life. the versace for h&m collection launches on november 17th in the uk, are you excited?

I'm excited about the launch but i find it daunting to go and queue early in the morning for clothes,as much as I love the items I can't do that. Anyone know if the clothes will still be there if I get there midday, and how good is online, yes i heard sites crash but how long should it take to get running. I'll visit the store later in the day and if its gone, its gone.
ReplyDeleteHow are you going about it 00o00 what are your tips for getting items
depends on how much you want it i guess. i tried online last year and it was terrible, as you will be fighting for bandwidth with the female shoppers too. it ain't too bad on the shop floor for men, i usually get what i want if i go in the morning. there will be stuff if you go midday or evening, but the ebay merchants and bargain hunters would have got in there already.
ReplyDeletei'm heading there at 8am, not queuing overnight definitely!
so LOVE, i want the whole collections

Hi, just read an interesting today in the bloomberg businessweek: "Versace’s collection goes on sale at about 300 H&M stores and online in select countries from Nov. 17. Versace, based in Milan, has also designed a pre-spring line for the retailer that will go on sale in countries where H&M distributes online from Jan. 19."
ReplyDeleteDo You know anything about this? Is it going to be sth different than what we've seen so far?
the collection going on sale on 17th and 19th will be the same as those above, and what we've seen so far. pics from the pre-spring collection hasn't been released yet. from what i understand, the pre-spring is womenswear only.
ReplyDeleteLast year's H&M x Lanvin was only sold out online the first few days after the launch. After that almost everything became available again online, and only 4 weeks after the launch the entire collection was moved to the Sale-section of the regular H&M site, where you could still get all the men's stuff for 4 months and at 30% to 50% off! So I'm just going to wait this year and not let all the craziness of trying to order online go to my head again :-)
ReplyDeleteMark Ronson looks the best. Supercool.
ReplyDeleteInteresting to see Marc dropped the tie, very stylish, very versace!
ReplyDeleteon second inspection I think the fold in the shirt looks like a tie actually, my mistake!
ReplyDeleteI think that scarf might be in the collection if you look on the ends there seems to be a slight pattern reminiscent of the Grecian design through out this collection
ReplyDeleteI just noticed that Mark has fuchsia buttons while the model has black buttons. I'm wondering what is all about.
ReplyDeletedissapointed, pretty unwearable pieces. pinky suit, tough geometrical prints, all studded stuff, wtf. would be cool to see, for example, some nice minmal coats in toned down brights as versace did in the main collection, or something like that, but this is just fun as i think, not more really.
ReplyDeleteI hope this will help :
