Who wore Versace for H&M better, Cameron Silver or Mark Ronson?

on saturday night, cameron silver, owner of the influential decades inc boutique in LA, was pictured at the 2011 museum of contemporary art (MOCA) gala in los angeles. cameron wore an entire ensemble from the upcoming versace for h&m collection. he added a dash of color using the scarf from the same collection to break up the peptol bismo color tone.

mark ronson also wore the same suit to the versace for h&m show in new york last week. who wore it better? i preferred mark's non-fuss styling. cameron's up-turned cuffs and black belt distracted me a little.

a reader commented previously that the runway picture showed black buttons on the suit whereas the retail versions seem to use matching fuchsia buttons. both cameron's and mark's jacket also appeared too long for them, which is worrying as both are pretty lanky guys.

the collection launches in the uk this coming thursday 17th november. you excited?

  1. haha you're watching this like a hawk!

Mark looks totally at home in that suit, casual and cool but I kind of prefer that the other guy is making more of an event of wearing a pink suit, if it were possible to outdo someone also wearing a bright pink suit that is!

  2. I don't want to be controversial, but.... A pink suit? SRSLY????

(Maybe just one thing - the shirt/jacket or trousers, but the total look it's just overkill)

  5. I prefer Cameron's styling. I like the way he broke up the pink on pink on pink with the scarf and the belt. What a fabulous ensemble!

  6. ronson by far for me, he looks more comfortable. and even though it's a pink suit he doesn't look camp in it. i don't really think the other fella really suits it actually. i don't think the jackets look too long, the model's jacket goes down further, unless their trousers are higher?

  9. Ronson. As people before me have said he looks comfortable in it. He doesn't look like he is saying "hey look at me I'm wearing a pink suit. Tres chic non?" I'll go for someone who look effortless and understated (as understated as you can in a pink suit) anyday.

  10. Mark Ronson all the way! He keeps it clean and simple, and that´s why it works.

  11. Ronson looks appropriately, comfortably, awkward in a monochromatic pink get-up.

  14. Clearly Cameron, he is one of the chicest men in Hollywood. He knows how to rock it and the blue shirt with it is perfection. AH-MAZ-ING!

  16. The scarf, black belt and rolled up cuffs give Cameron "the look". A mannequin can do what Mark is doing.
