mr. porter today launched their spring summer 2012 campaign. in line with the previous series, the campaign features three guys who have inherited the sartorial style of their forefathers, and who aptly represent the campaign’s slogan: "you can inherit style. or purchase it on MRPORTER.COM". the campaign stars three sons and grandsons of style icons: ethan peck, actor grandson of gregory peck; tuki brando, medical student and grandson of marlon brando; and unsurprisingly my favourite, logan plant, brewer and son of led zeppelin's robert plant (above).
i love it that they used real people in their campaign, alfred dunhill's "voice" campaign comes to mind. it makes it more believable, and adds a layer of intrigue. looking fashionably broody by the seaside, mr. logan plant wore a pair of burberry prorsum ikat print trousers, really one of my favourites from the latter's spring summer 2012 collection.
you can find the burberry prorsum ikat print trousers online here.

yes i love it too :D
DeleteThese are beautiful trousers, but it has to be mentioned that they are looking like an exact copy of what Mr Dries van Noten created for Spring/Summer 2010, see: http://www.style.com/fashionshows/complete/S2010MEN-DVNOTEN
ReplyDeletegood spot. i remembered watching the show and remarked on twitter that it looked very dries :)
Deletethose trousers... I can't decide whether I would prefer them to the ikat print shirt, they are less wearable though I don't have any print trousers! Tbh I wouldn't complain with either!
ReplyDeletei love the shirt, would prefer that myself...
