Mr Hudson in James Long for Topman
The James Long x Topman collection launches today. James Long’s luxury knitwear echoes his roots by being crafted in Britain using British yarns. His unique collection boasts multi-colour tartans and oversized polka dots, with inspiration being taken from musical icons the Sex Pistols and Keith Richards. Brit artiste Mr Hudson was pictured last month in one of the knits from the exclusive collection. I thought he looked really good.
Although the nationwide launch is today, I managed to snag one last Friday from the Topman General Store in Shoreditch. I love the oversized slouchyness, and the slightly furry sleeves. Reminded me a little of what Balmain did for their womenswear SS2013 collection, but grittier and with a lot more East End feel. You can get the James Long for Topman collection online from Topman.com.

Loving these but feel the quality may be lacking? Topman's own line tends to produce good knits that look and feel amazing on purchase but degenerate into shrunken, shrivelled catastrophies after a wash or two.

i wore mine on sunday and it was fine. the knitwear is made in britain, and it is rather heavy and thick to warrant the price tag. it's dry clean only, i'll see how it pans out going forward...
DeleteLove it. Just ordered the S/M. I hope it is not too small!
