Luisa Via Roma #Firenze4Ever Look 3

00O00 Menswear Blog Luisa Via Roma #Firenze4Ever Look 3
Here is look three from my Stylelab assignment for Luisa Via Roma. If you have been following the story, we were asked to style three looks using the store's Fall Winter 2013 buys. Here is look one and look two if you missed it. The theme was "punk", and as I mentioned previously, it really is a difficult one.

For this look, I look back to home and asked myself how I would play punk in the office. As an accountant who works in the city, there are certain expectations on how one should dress. I'm not there to break the rules, but I wanted to create a look where the model would quietly shatter all the glass walls. We picked a classic white shirt from Z Zegna, and a gorgeous slim fitting suit from Givenchy. At first I really wanted a flashy document holder or bag, but that might be too busy with that coat so we chose a classic Lanvin leather bag. The non-conforming part would be the studded and patent leather shoes from Giacomorelli, which I thought were absolutely fabulous. And of course there is the leopard print coat from Burberry Prorsum, just nonchalantly hanging. The thing is, coats come off when you reach the office, and what is left is a relatively safe but stylish get up. So why not sex it up a bit with the outerwear?

This is my favourite out of the three looks. I would really want to wear that to the office and see if my boss falls off his chair. You can shop all of the above items online from Luisa Via Roma.

I had such massive fun styling the looks, hope you will love them as much as I do. 5 hours to pick the outfits for 3 looks, scout for locations and get the model ready for hair and make-up. I'm very happy with what I achieved, considering this is my first styling gig. Which is your favourite out of the three?

  2. Just want to say I loved all three looks, been following your blog for a while now. But the last look with the Leopard coat casually hanging over the suit fucking nailed it!!.

  3. I like how the three looks are a transition of growing up. The first for a teenager, second for a cool guy in his 20s and last for late 20s early 30s career look :)

    1. interesting, i never thought of it that way. cool!

  4. definitely the burberry look, love the coat, tho it's not very punish!

what's he wearing?
