Humberto Leon / Style.com | Kenzo Menswear Fall Winter 2013
Humberto Leon was pictured at the premiere of Wong Kar Wai's "The Grand Master" in New York city earlier this week. Humberto Leon and Carol Lim are the creative directors at Kenzo, so it is no surprise that he wore something from Kenzo to the premiere. Humberto wore a pair of the cloud print trousers from Kenzo Fall Winter 2013, paired with an Elvis Presley print t-shirt and white sneakers. Not really sure why Elvis. If I can be honest, printed / graphic trousers are always a tricky item to wear (maybe for me). However, his whole look seemed to flow pretty nicely. Perhaps keeping the t-shirt and shoes simple helped.
On a separate note: I can't wait for the movie to open in London. I am a big fan of director Wong Kar Wai. From the early "Days of being Wild", to "Chungking Express" being the soundtrack / movie of my youth, to "Happy Together" which put Ushuaia as one of the places I would really like to visit. To the futuristic "2046" and Maggie Cheung sashaying around in gorgeous cheongsums declaring we are "In The Mood For Love". And there was his first Hollywood foray "My Blueberry Nights" starring Jude Law and Norah Jones, which I really love no matter what the movie critics say.
And we are back to fashion. The cloud print was featured in some of the pieces from Kenzo Fall Winter 2013. You can find a good selection online from Farfetch.com.

Agreed with you completely, Humberto got it perfectly right. Kenzo has some crazy busy prints so it's the smartest to keep the rest of the outfit simple.
