The boys from One Direction were pictured at Clevedon Pier in England on 24 March 2014, shooting scenes for their new music video. Harry Styles was pictured in a really nice and toasty brown sheepskin coat, over a grey knitwear with a peek of his Alexander McQueen scarf. He was also pictured at some point, with the scarf tied around his head, keeping his tresses in place.

A while ago, Harry Styles was also pictured with a blue scarf with red skulls from Alexander McQueen. I like the look above as the scarf gave a nice pop of colour to his outfit. It is a nifty little piece of accessory which adds a layered look and also proved to be practical, as cleverly demonstrated by Harry Styles. Great duo use.

Keith Richards from The Rolling Stones is often pictured out and about with a scarf / bandana tied around his head, and many suggest that Harry on occasions mimic his style. I think every generation has their style icons. David Beckham famously stepped onto the football pitch with an Alice band to keep his hair in place. While I wouldn't say that sparked a trend, but it became a socially acceptable norm. It is ok for guys to sport longer hair and keep it out of the face, we can have the cake and eat it too.

Here are a few of my favourite Alexander McQueen scarves, including the two that were spotted on Harry Styles. I would suggest going for a larger width, so it can be layered comfortably around the neck, and if like Harry you have enviable voluminous hair, go copy Harry's style (pun intended). To side track a little about Clevedon PierThe guys from One Direction were pictured above shooting their new music video at Clevedon Pier in North Somerset. The Grade I listed piece of architecture was described by poet Sir John Betjeman as the ‘most beautiful pier in England’ (mental note: must visit, when it is less freezing).

Clevedon Piere - Never Let Me Go
The pier is a popular tourist attraction and was used as a filming location in the 2010 Mark Romanek film "Never Let Me Go", starring Andrew Garfield, Carey Mulligan and Keira Knightley. When the new music video from One Direction comes out, keep a look out for the picturesque pier.
