Drake / Burberry | Burberry London Fall Winter 2012

Drake was pictured out and about in London on 27 March 2014. The Canadian artiste performed at the O2 Arena in London earlier this week, and he also attended the launch of his fashion label 'October's Very Own' at Browns Fashion boutique on Thursday evening. He wore a camel coloured Burberry coat for the fashion launch, and changed into the above grey gabardine Burberry trench coat for a night out with the crew. The belted trench coat featured a distinctive detachable alligator leather top collar, with matching brown buttons.

Two Burberry coats in a day, Drake is spoiling us. I guess one can do no wrong if in London you wear Burberry. Love the classic and evergreen Burberry trench coat, which is given a luxurious twist with the alligator  leather collar. It is a beautiful coat and it fitted him well, but I wished he would crack a little smile. Life surely can't be that bad if he sold out three concerts in London, sold out of his clothing collection at Browns and he is wearing a gorgeous one of a kind trench coat.

The Burberry trench coat is a classic wardrobe staple and well worth the investment. While Drake's version with the alligator leather collar is a little out there, the sand or black coloured version will easily guide us through the ages. You can shop the above Burberry London trench coats online from MrPorter.com.

There is also the bespoke option on Burberry.com, where we can customise pretty much just about every aspect of the coat. The below is what I have built to mimic Drake's coat, replacing the alligator leather collar with mink instead. Why not give it a try yourself?
