South Korean actor Kim Soo-Hyun [金秀賢 / 김수현] attended the '1st Memories In Taiwan' press conference on 21 March 2014 in Taipei, Taiwan. Kim Soo-Hyun was in Taiwan for a "meet and greet" with his fans, and for the occasion he wore a blue 'James' gradient and checked suit from Vivienne Westwood, over a white mandarin collar shirt and black lace up shoes.
I love the checked details on the lapels, which contrasted with the gradient vertical stripes on most part of the suit. I thought this is a very difficult suit to wear, the vertical stripes might be a little challenging for most. At times, the suit reminded me of Sheldon Cooper's 'Doppler Effect' Halloween costume (and yes, I am a big fan of 'The Big Bang Theory'). That said, I thought Kim Soo-Hyun looked really good at the event. He took a risk and it paid off. Especially loving the mandarin collar white shirt, the sheer simplicity and lack of accessories balance out all the details on the suit. I thought the suit fitted very well, the slightly cropped blazer and trousers made the whole look very proportionate. A very good look from Kim Soo-Hyun.
