Burberry Brings London to Shanghai

George Azra Burberry Brings London to Shanghai
Burberry celebrated the launch of its new Shanghai flagship store, Burberry Kerry Centre, on 24 April 2014. Burberry brought the spirit, creativity and heritage of the brand from its hometown of London into the heart of Shanghai, China. Celebrating with a global audience of over 1500 guests, the event narrated the Burberry Heritage along with the representation of the Fall Winter 2014 Burberry Prorsum collections. The event was also accompanied by live musical performances, including British musician George Ezra.

George Ezra performed in a gorgeous floral printed shirt from Burberry Prorsum Fall Winter 2014. A very simple styling, just him and the guitar, but what a pretty picture it painted. I yearn to hear what he played.

Jin Da Chuan Burberry Brings London to Shanghai
Model Jin Da Chuan [金大川] also attended the event. He wore a floral printed short sleeved shirt with grey cropped trousers. Jin accessorised with a red linen tie and brown suede shoes. I love this look: the length of the trousers was absolutely spot on, and I kind of need that shirt right now.

Jamie Campball Bower Burberry Brings London to Shanghai
British actor and current Burberry campaign model Jamie Campbell Bower was also at the event. Looking like the hot mess that he usually is, Jamie Campbell Bower wore a green trench coat and accessorised with a floral printed scarf from Burberry Prorsum Fall Winter 2014. I don't get the "I'm not really sure of myself" pose, but I do like the red bandana tied around his left wrist.

Burberry Brings London to Shanghai Callum Ball
Model Callum Ball attended the event in a pale green shirt with immaculate length trousers. He accessorised with a bright orange tie, which is a little too long for my liking, and paired with boat shoes that need to be on my shoe rack right this moment. Love his hairstyle and overall look.

Chen Kun Burberry Brings London to Shanghai
Chinese artiste Chen Kun [陈坤] also attended the event. He went for a rather business-y look, but spiced things up with a polka dot pocket square (LOVE) and a wide neck pullover (UNDECIDED). Chen Kun is gorgeous, and it is difficult to make him look bad in any attire. However, I wish that blue wide neck pullover was removed (NOW DECIDED). What do you think?

My eyes were also fixated on Chen Kun's stunning Burberry "The Britain" timepiece. A celebration of innovation and craftsmanship, "The Britain" is a modern and elegant timepiece designed in Britain and crafted in Switzerland. The watch features a distinctive octagonal face with details inspired by Burberry heritage, including D-ring shaped bezels and an iconic trench coat colour palette. You can find out more about the watch, and to shop it online from Burberry.com.

  1. Ok with the wide neck pullover because like you rightly said, the look is too business-y hence it's necessary

    1. Would prefer a normal pullover and not something that wide collared!

    2. I agree, don't like the pullover, but he is still totally gorgeous even with it.
