Freddie Ljungberg / Daily Mail | Balmain Spring Summer 2014
Freddie Ljungberg was pictured at Chiltern Firehouse on 31 May 2014 in Chiltern Street, London. The former professional footballer and ex Calvin Klein underwear model wore a satin trimmed wool biker jacket from Balmain Spring Summer 2014, over a white shirt, dark denims and matching sneakers. The jacket is one of my favourites from this Balmain collection, a great update on the classic leather biker jacket but in fabric instead. I honestly love Balmain outerwear, it is rare that I would find something that I do not like.
You can shop the Balmain biker jacket online from Mr Porter:
Speaking of Chiltern Fire House: it has to be the most incredible venue in London right now. It is hotelier André Balazs's first project outside of the US (Chateau Marmont in Hollywood, Mercer in New York). The Firehouse (Fire Station to us layman) was built in 1889, and is regarded as one of the finest surviving examples of the gothic architectural style used during the pre-war period. André Balazs and his team carefully restored the building, and reinstated many of its original lost details such as the facade's carved stone arches and original brickwork. The hotel has not officially opened, but night after night the who's who of London has popped into the in-house restaurant, led by Michelin starred Nuno Mendes.
