Jeff Koons attended the preview of his retrospective at The Whitney Museum of American Art on 24 June 2014 in New York City. The American artist wore a charcoal grey notch lapel suit, over a white cotton shirt and accessorised with a black calfskin belt, all from Dior Homme.

Wishing I will be in New York City soon.  Nearly the entire museum will be filled with four decades of Jeff Koons' work when it opens to the public on June 27th. The American artist is known for his reproductions of seemingly common objects, such as balloon animals, produced in stainless steel with mirror-finished surfaces.

I've always wanted one of those Jeff Koons small scale balloon dogs on my desk. Whimsical and harks back to the purer and more innocent times. Nostalgia can only do so much. For now, how about some Jeff Koons x Dom Pérignon champagne from Harrods?

The ‘Dom Pérignon Balloon Venus’ by Jeff Koons is adapted from Koons’ original Antiquity Series. Sculpted to reveal a bottle of Dom Pérignon Champagne when opened, the limited edition gift box echoes Koons’ design, with metallic images of the Balloon Venus in colours to match the cuvée - yellow for the Blanc 2004 and pink for the Rosé 2003.
