Park Life

AESOP Skincare Petitgrain Hydrating Body Gel - AESOP Deodorant - AESOP lipbalm
Spent the afternoon at the park near my house today. London has been basking in gloriously good weather lately (read: unbearably hot), and it cooled down quite a bit today. Perhaps the weatherman is right to predict a torrential downpour for Wednesday. So I grabbed a book from my shelf and a few essentials from Aesop Skincare and off I went to the park. I swear I did not set out to colour coordinate the items above.

River Thames London August 2014
The tranquil little parkland 5 minutes away from my house next to the River Thames. Cloudy with a chance of meatballs, but it was nice to have the mild breeze, the sound of the waves hitting the shores and the green green grass on my feet.

With the recent sunny spells in London, the above Aesop Skincare products proved to be nice little treats. I packed the Aesop Deodorant for my travels recently and it is a handy bottle to keep in the bag. Unlike most deodorants which we might be familiar with, this does not stop one from perspiring but neutralises the bodily smells. The lemongrass, cloves and vetiver root give a nice subtle scent, so I did not find the need to wear an aftershave today.

The Aesop lip balm with SPF30 is great for the summer. Formulated without silicone, paraffin, beeswax or other animal-derived ingredients, this protective balm relieves and softens dry lips. Remember, chapped lips are not sexy.

AESOP Skincare Petitgrain Hydrating Body Gel
The Aesop Petitgrain Hydrating Body Gel is perfect for now. I find myself reapplying it ever so often when I was at the park. When the gentle breeze from the river front hits the lightweight gel on my skin, it created a very nice cooling sensation. The lightweight composition delivers gentle, grease-free hydration without imparting a heavy film. Particularly loving the lead ingredient of Aloe leaf juice which gives the gel a fresh clean scent.

A Problem A Day Penguin Books
Now back to my book. If Jay Z has 99 problems, hopefully I would have solved three of them with the Aesop Skincare products above. Now, can you help me solve today's problem?

"An endeavour to solve the problems in this little collection, though hardly likely to make any serious demands upon mental powers, by bringing temporary forgetfulness of life's little worries, may enable you to approach the solution of its harder problems with a clearer and more alert mind." A Problem A Day ~ R. M. Lucey
