9th October 2014 is TOMS World Sight Day. Every year, World Sight Day raises Global Awareness about blindness and visual impairment – and every day TOMS Eyewear purchases help give sight to people in need, enabling them to fully experience the world. Around 250 million people globally are blind or visually impaired, and 80 percent do not have to be. To help support this global awareness, post a photo on your social media channels, of what sight means to you. Include #GIVESIGHT and @TOMSuk, and a selection of the images will then be printed and curated in a gallery exhibit. The gallery will be hosted at retail locations on World Sight Day, 9th October, across the world.
With every product you purchase, TOMS will help a person in need. One for One.
So what does sight means to me? To be able to see what is on the other side so I can bravely venture beyond these shores. And what does sight means to you? Have a think, spread the word and get creative tomorrow.
